Emmanuel Idoko
I'm Emmanuel Idoko, a software engineer, AI/ML engineer, and researcher based in Lagos, Nigeria. I build practical software and AI systems while pursuing research that connects experimentation with deployment.
My research interests include clinical AI, medical imaging, computer vision, self-supervised learning, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic systems. I co-authored SharpXR, published at the MIRASOL Workshop at MICCAI 2025, and VAMAE, accepted at ICPR 2026.
Alongside research, I work across product engineering, cloud systems, and community-led technical programmes. I am completing a B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Lagos (2021–2027).
